Wedding Events

The Night Before - Thursday, 16 April 2026

For those who arrive early and are looking to begin the festivities, we will be organising somewhere to catch up and hang out the night before the wedding. Nothing formal or structured, just a common location for people to catch up and start the party!

Let us know if you're interested in attending and we will keep you in the loop.

Location: TBC.

Recovery Brunch - Saturday, 18 April 2026

After a full night of festivities, some might be dusty, a few might be nursing their blisters (those damn stilettos), and (we hope) most will be looking to keep the party going.

Join us the next morning from 11.00am for the Recovery Brunch.

Please confirm whether you'll be attending when submitting your RSVP to assist with catering and numbers.

Location: 56 Halliday Road, Wānaka

Will you be
attending?
Our Story

Our Journey

What started as a single date turned into a second, and a third, and a fourth, and, well, you get the point.

Now, we're here, almost eight years later. Having braved an apartment designed for two, but fitting three, surviving Covid-19 (aka being stuck with each other 24 hours a day), violent arguments over Mortal Combat (Mauro always cheats...and wins) and disputes over how to raise our son (Rocco).

The question is, will we make it up the aisle? You'll need to be there to find out!

For some that don't know, our wedding journey all started on a family trip to Europe in 2024.

And a-top the Swiss Alps on Mount Pilatus, Adam popped the question.

But instead of telling the story, just watch it, it's easier and saves us on the word count.

Getting around

We recommend hiring a car at Queenstown International Airport, that way you'll not only enjoy the wedding, but the great views around the area.

There are plenty of hire car providers at Queenstown airport

The fastest way to get from Queenstown to Wānaka is to drive which takes about 1 hour.

Accommodation

We recommend staying in Wānaka, as it will be close in proximity to the wedding, as well as the events the days before and after. In our opinion, the best accommodation in Wānaka is found on Airbnb, but there are also some options for hotels on websites like Expedia or Booking.com

However, a stay in Queenstown (or the area's around e.g. Arrowtown, Shotover Country, Lake Hayes Estate) is also feasible. Likewise, check out Airbnbs and hotels for options in Queenstown.

Questions? We might have the answers ready for you.

Dress code

The Wedding (17 April 2026): Formal/Black Tie. For guys, preferably tuxedos and bow ties, but a black suit and bow tie is a happy compromise. For the ladies, floor length is a vibe, but otherwise dress fabulous. For all genders, no cocktail attire please.

All other social events: Anything socially acceptable that will not see you arrested for public indecency
